Leila Mozaffari


Leila Mozaffari, the Director of the Orange County SBDC has extensive experience in the field of management consulting. Whether representing a national consulting firm or as an independent consultant, her advice has been sought by major corporations as well as small businesses in a wide range of industries throughout the United States.

One of her specialties is sales and sales management. Over her career, Ms. Mozaffari has coached CEOs, presidents and owners of numerous companies in wide range of industries adopt effective and proven sales and sales management techniques. Her clients credit her with the success they have had in growing their sales. She is a regular speaker on the topic and asked regularly to contribute sales related articles to publications. Since joining Orange County SBDC in 2006, Leila has focused her efforts in bringing increased resources and services to Orange County’s vibrant small business community assisting more than 3,000 small business owners and entrepreneurs annually to start new businesses, grow and expand their businesses and enter new markets. Under her leadership, the Orange County SBDC was recognized by US Small Business Administration as a Center of Excellence. Additionally, she and her team has been instrumental in expanding the government and corporate procurement assistance and matchmaking programs of Orange County SBDC which is credited with helping clients receive over $30M of contracts annually.

Ms. Mozaffari is active in the community and serves on many boards including the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Orange County and its Education Foundation, Advisory Board of the Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County and Corporate Advisory Board of Asian Business Association of Orange County and the Orange County President’s Council.

She has been recognized by the Association of Small Business Development Centers as a State Star, Senator Lou Correa as Women Making a Difference and by the Filipino- American Chamber of Commerce as the Community Advocate of the Year. In 2013, she was awarded the Black Chamber of Commerce of Orange County’s Michael R. Jones Business Impact award and the Community Advocate Person of the Year by of the Asian Business Association of Orange County for community involvement as a role model.
